St Mary's Barton Mills is a really good example of a beautiful medieval church (Grade II* listed) which has nonetheless been sensitively adapted to serve the community in the 21st century. We are open during daylight hours 365 days per year and welcome visitors who wish to enjoy the peace, say a prayer or simply admire this lovely and holy old building.
We worship every Sunday at 9.30am; children are welcome at all our services and we seek to engage them in the worship. On the second Sunday of each month our service is Messy Church which is ideal for families, though all are very welcome to join in the fun. There is also a quiet early communion that day at 8am, and a healing service at 5pm.
Home groups meet for bible study, prayer and just to enjoy each others' company on alternate Wednesdays both morning and evening, and new members are always welcome. Contact us for more details.
There is a short informal prayer time in church each Thursday at 10am and a coffee morning in the church rooms the same day from 10am-12noon.
